RECRUITS (PHASE 1)
Junior entrants at the Army Development Centre (Bassingbourne) and adult recruits at all Army Training Regiments achieve the wider Key Skills Level 1 or 2 in: Improving Own Learning and Performance, Working With Others and Problem Solving. Junior Entrants at the Army Foundation College (Harrogate) may achieve an Apprenticeship in Information Technology and those allocated to Military Engineer (Fitter General) may gain NVQ Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations.
ROYAL ENGINEERS TRAINING PROGRAMMES
All Royal Engineers personnel may have the opportunity to achieve the following qualifications during their career:
- Level 1 Basic Skills in Literacy and Numeracy
- Level 2 Certificate in Relief Operations
- Level 2 Award in Team Leading
- CMI (Chartered Management Institute) Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading
- CMI Level 3 Diploma in First Line Management
- CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership
